One of the lovely ladies who came to the Clifton Arms and was welcomed with open arms called in today with this beautiful card and the most heartfelt words.

Knowing we've helped bring a smile to someone's face makes everything worthwhile. Creating friendships, offering warmth, and giving people a sense of belonging is priceless.

When someone is depressed or in a dark hole, very rarely are they gonna message someone saying they need help.

Extend the hand first if you're concerned about someone
A message or a phonecall, let them know you're there, rather than them coming to you.

It's a small thing, but may help somebody more than you'd know.
It's good to talk 🙌
