Just thought l would give an update regarding my health. A few people have asked Tony how l am doing. To be honest l am really fed up. It’s been such a long time since l was ill l really thought l would be back to work in some capacity by now. I saw the consultant a couple of weeks ago and things are progressing well. The foot has healed from the surgery but l appear to be allergic to the dressings the district nurses have been using so the skin won’t heal. I have got problems with the bones in that foot so l am back in my big grey boot l was wearing at the beginning of last year and cannot walk very far at all. I am missing the tea room and the tram station and being able to have a proper conversation with people! Back to the consultant in about 4 weeks so hopefully some better news to come.
