07563682934 The Station has a strong focus on food, ranging from breakfast every day, to roasts at the weekend, and a wide variety of our take on pub classics in-between. There is also a monthly specials menu, offering a few dishes which really showcase the fresh, locally sourced produce that we use. The new re-fit really shows the wide variety of different areas to the pub, and brings in a lot of quirky contemporary features, whilst highlighting some of the incredible original Victorian aspects of the interior and frontage to the pub. This all leads through to the great garden space, on two different levels, with plenty of little areas to explore and great views of the local chimney tops providing a really unique space!

This Saturday is our first date at The Station and so only right that founding performer Steve Ajao is as the first act we book - after all he started it all. In those days upstairs on a Saturday afternoon at the Bulls Head Steve would some weeks play sax with a jazz quartet or guitar with a blues band so people ending up asking if it was Jazz Club or Blues Club that week. Over time we moved downstairs at the Bull and Steve stayed on guitar so the name Blues Club stuck. Here we are 20 years later with him on guitar starting Blues Club again and once again we can’t wait to see him play.

From 3rd October our Saturday afternoon events will be at The Station a bit further down Kings Heath High Street from the Hare. Although the location has changed we will still be giving you great bands each week and some choice vinyl from 3pm till 7pm and it’s still free admission
