September has been another incredibly busy month for both of our teams, with dogs continuing to arrive needing our help, alongside numerous calls from owners looking to relinquish their pets or asking for training and behavioural support.

Across our centres in September:

🐶 103 dogs rescued
🏡 66 dogs rehomed
💙 12 dogs reunited with their worried owners
🐾 13 dogs supported in foster care

Behind every one of these figures is a dog, a family and a story.

Our work isn't simply about finding new homes. Every day, our teams are speaking to owners who are struggling and reaching out for support, whether they feel they can no longer care for their dog or need training and behavioural advice to help them through a difficult period.

Wherever possible, we want to help dogs remain happily in their homes, while continuing to ensure we have space for the stray, abandoned and vulnerable dogs who have nowhere else to go.

With more than 100 dogs needing our help in September alone, the pressure on our teams and kennel spaces continues. But with your support, we can continue to be there for them.

Thank you to everyone who adopts, fosters, donates, volunteers, shares our dogs or simply sends us a kind message of support. It all makes a difference to the dogs who need us.
