I’ve been busy in the kitchen creating something a little bit different from what I usually do… and trust me, this one is packed FULL of flavour! 🤤🔥

I’ve been experimenting with this new creation and I’m bringing it along this weekend as a trial. I want to see what you lovely bees think before I decide whether it deserves a permanent place on the menu! 👀🐝

Eeeek Just look at him. I love him.

Whilst doing a little shop I fancied some cake and I was definitely not baking in this heat. ( i wouldn't want it by the time its made lol )

I found this in my local morrisons and thought id give it ago. I love their olive bread so thought this might be really good.

I have to say its very light and fresh but I need a bit more of a drizzle for me. I do love LEMON 🍋

I’ve watched the new chicken documentary on Netflix last night, and honestly, I think the majority of people need to watch it. 👀

Especially if you’re regularly eating fast food or processed chicken, or if you’re a parent whose children live on the usual beige foods. I see it all the time on social media and alot at events — parents coming up asking for chicken nuggets because that’s all their little ones will eat.

Have you actually stopped to look at what’s in those nuggets and what you’re putting into your body? Im always saying to people it isn't proper chicken. I was proven right.

I’m actually glad I’m gluten free because I can’t eat McDonald’s or KFC anyway, but it has made me look at the other fast-food chicken options that are available to me and really question what’s actually in them or how they are made.

One of the things that shocked me in the documentary was seeing that one chicken product had 100 added ingredients! 😳 not just that the antibiotics and other additives found in chicken dishes like latex 🤮 !!!! Not to mentioned how the birds are treated 🤬

It really makes you think about what we’re eating and what we’re feeding our children. I’m not saying you can never have fast food, but I do think we should all be more aware of what’s actually going into these foods.

I thought it was a fantastic documentary and definitely one worth watching.

Last stop of our week away! 🐝🚐

I had to go and see my good friend Madam Butterfly Glitter Bar at an event in Droitwich to get my face painted 🦋💃

While I was there, I also had a go at the ball-throwing game… and somehow happily came home with the newest member of the van family — Pistachio El Nashio! 😂💚🚐

I didn’t stay for too long though, because I had my dancing shoes on and was off to a friend’s DJ event for the evening! 🎶🕺💃

And just like that… our week away comes to an end. What a week it’s been! ❤️

Back to reality and back to the hive and back to ALL the emails, orders etc I've received whilst away! 🐝🚐

Day 5 🐝

We ended up in Ironbridge and found the White Hart Pub.

What a beautiful little town this is! ❤️ And even better, there were a few places for us to eat.

I wasn’t that hungry, so I went for a tuna sandwich with a side of chips. 🥪🍟

As you can see from the menu, there were lots of GF options, and GFR means gluten free on request, so they could adapt meals for you too.

My meal was brought out separately from the other meal orders, which gave me that extra reassurance of avoiding cross-contamination. 🙌

I have to say, it was a lovely little spot for lunch… and of course, a cheeky cider! 😂🍏
