We decided to start this new venture when we realised how much we love what we do, and we wanted to share this with everyone in Billingham and further afield. We spent a lot of time finding the right location and when a property on station road Billingham became available we knew it would be a perfect start. We transformed an old takeaway and made what we think is a warm, cosy and comfortable bistro, so please come along and let us know what you think!

Our summer menus started this week & this is the lamb dish on there 🙌🏻 Ian Atkin & Hannah Lowes work so hard putting together future menus, it takes weeks of research, trial & error, budgeting & creativity all whilst working & serving the current menu 👏🏻 they are little superstars in that kitchen 🤩🥰👩🏻‍🍳🧑🏻‍🍳

We have FOUR new tapas dates up on our website, they are all on Tuesday nights with the first one being next week (yes this is very last minute so please help us fill up 🥰🤞🏻🙏). Tables must be booked on our website. Above is a sample menu so anyone who hasn’t been before can get an idea of what we do, it’s £35 per person for 4 dishes & a drink!

We’ve just had a wonderful week off driving the NC500 in our campervan which was absolutely amazing ❤️ thank you for being so patient with us when we close, it’s the only way we can spend time together as a family so we really do appreciate everyone’s understanding. We are back open from tomorrow with our normal opening hours & tomorrow night (Wednesday) is looking extremely quiet so if you fancy a last minute meal out we have tables free - just book directly on our website 😊

We are helping to raise money to fund our gorgeous son’s leavers prom at school. For those long standing customers can you believe Seb is 10 & getting ready to leave primary school 😱 - I know, I can’t either & I can’t think about it too much or else I’ll start crying 😭 (again). So if any of our wonderful customers/friends/family would like to buy a number they are £2 a go & can be bought by popping to the bar when you are next in or even when you are just passing by 😬. Payments need to be in cash & the winner gets a voucher for an early bird meal for 2 at the bistro 🙌🏻🥰 we would be so grateful for any little bit of help

Seasonal food at its best 😍 our new menus are going down so well! This salmon & dill mousse has been a hit & the presentation is a little bit of spring on a plate 💚 we have tables free tomorrow lunchtime - lunch menu, early bird menu & grill menu all available (as well as vegan & gluten free menus), book directly on our website!

We are back open after our weeks break 🥳 and even better news…we have our new spring menus ready to start tonight 🤤👏🥰 it’s always hard doing new menus - from the planning to the prepping, the organising & the printing BUT we love being able to change up our choices to reflect the seasons! Although food wise spring is a hard time to find good seasonal produce this menu is always one of my fav’s as it means we are slowly leaving winter behind & the longer days, lighter nights, warmer weather & hints of sunshine put everyone in a good mood 🙌🏻🌼☀️💚 our website might be slower to update so if you know anyone who will be desperate to see these menus get tagging & sharing!!
