After such a long, hot summer, we definitely do need some rain — and it looks like we’re getting plenty today! 😅

We are opening as usual, but depending on how the day unfolds, we may close early.

Good morning everyone … I just wanted to take a moment to say a huge thank you to everyone’s comments and words of support following my post yesterday.

I do feel a little bit of a negative Nelly of late with some of my posts the last few weeks….. I’m not usually like this at all but I feel yesterday was the one that pushed me over the edge 😔

I guess being a person who wears her heart on her sleeve and brought up to be kind and considerate, I might just be a tad sheltered to the constant pressure of people pleasing…maybe it’s being a newbie to the hospitality industry 🤷‍♂️.

But all your amazing-ness yesterday has restored my faith that there are people out there kind and bloomin lovely 🥰. This is backed up by the outport of support from local communities after the devastation of the Stourbridge fires 😔. It restores your faith in humanity somewhat 🙏🏻

It’s one of the most talked about conversations at the tearoom…..social media and how it can be brilliant but also brutal (and I could go on all day about the next generation living how they live compared to I was growing up…..but that’s a conversation we have can when you pop in 🤭).

Right I best go before I do write an essay!
