Thats me signing off today ....

Heartfelt thankyou to all the customers from all over the years ...

All the staff, chefs, potwashers, front of house, glass collectors, casuals, my parents ... everyone - been part of something very special, thats become very clear over the last couple of months and I think we can all be very proud as a collective of that💚

I shared this video as I was asked often how big it was, didnt believe we had no windows etc... 😳.. professional cooking is a tough industry, I always found I could focus if I couldn't see what was happening outside, the clock was only to work too, to know when you lot wanted feeding! If the walls could talk eh 🤔...

Its been an honour...

Last weekend at The Black Swan

And so our journey is nearly complete - 22 years of being your hosts at the Black Swan
This is our final weekend and then Brown Ales will take the reigns and breath new life into the pub for the future years to come.
All stock is limited and when its gone its gone!

They think its all over!!!!!

Yes we are passing the pub over to the very capable hands of Brown Ales Pub Co.

But for now we are still trading - we are low on stock and apologise if we don't
have your choice of drink.

This Sunday 19th July from 2 - 6 pm will be one of the rare times that Neil and Noreen will be socialising in there own pub 'The Black Swan'
We would love to see you before the sale completes.

May we take this opportunity to thank all our many staff that have passed through the pub - many have become lifelong friends.
You know where I am if ever you need me.
Also thankyou to all our lovely customers in all our three pubs that we have had spanning nearly 30 years! Once again many lifelong friends made along the way.

As we enter our final weeks here we are further reducing some prices ....

ALL Spirits £2.50 single/£4 double

ALL Wines £15 a bottle

All other offers on pints still stand

We hope to see you all for a couple more drinks or 2 yet :)

So Food is done ....

Some may not be aware but we are still open until the new owners take over for drinks only for the next 6-8 weeks (est) ...

So new opening hours are

Tuesday - Thursday* 4-10:30pm
Friday 3-10:30**
Saturday 12-10:30

* special prices all evening
**special prices 3-7 Friday
ALL pints £4.50 (yes Guinness included :) )
ALL Wine by the bottle £18
Prosecco £15
ALL Cocktails 2-for-£10

Well behaved dogs will now be welcome also

We are FULLY BOOKED each eveing now - few tables left friday + saturday daytime is all ...

And have made the decision to end takeaways all together now because of this - (any takeaways already pre ordered will be honoured of course )
