The Dep is short for dépanneur which is the French-Canadian name for a local corner shop🇨🇦✨

Just like the dépanneurs of Montréal, we’ve got a wee tuck shop for special bits from local makers, Canadian chocolate bars, Nanaimo Bars, Butter Tarts and more!

Local Irish beef brisket is cured for 10 days, coated in our signature spice blend, smoked slowly, then steamed until it’s insanely tender.
Whacked between two slices of sourdough-rye with mustard and you have Canadas most iconic sandwich! 👉 only at the dep!
