If you're looking for a traditional restaurant with a modern twist, look no further than Ownies Bar & Bistro. Whether it's a locally-sourced special or a quiet drink by the fire, you will find it all in our welcoming venue. Established as The Joymount Arms in 1846, the bar has since been re-branded as Ownies Bar & Bistro. The name change came about in tribute to Leo McCullogh, owner of the bar for over 70 years. Fondly nicknamed 'Ownie' after the patrons overheard his grandchildren failing to pronounce his name, the name has stuck ever since. Ownies Bar & Bistro Fanโs Guidelines
