Fantastic food, fantastic staff, three bars in one (we actually have six, plus the b**r and roof garden)... and a special mention for the Oak Lounge, "for the more mature gentlemen". His words, not ours.

90 years. A few things have changed. The important things haven’t.

The stained glass. The woodwork. The snugs. The little details that have watched generations of Belfast come through the doors.

Since 1935, there have been first dates, family dinners, quiet pints, big nights, celebrations, plenty of stories and probably a fair few “just the one”s that didn’t quite go to plan.

90 years on the Ormeau Road, and still a proper Belfast pub at heart.

The evenings are getting darker, there’s a wee chill in the air and suddenly a salad just isn’t going to cut it.

We’re talking lasagne straight from the oven, sausage & mash covered in gravy, chicken stacks, steak sandwiches and a proper plate of goujons & chips.

Basically, if it’s warm, comforting and best enjoyed in the pub, we’re ordering it.
