Joe making great progress in barista training! We’ve had teens/adults who struggle with confidence, social anxiety etc & others that thrive interacting.
I can relate to both. I went blind at 18 & my life went from independent to needing help. I struggle in social settings as I can’t see if people are talking to me etc so having this to help others is great. Looking back there was never much local help. RNIB were a big part in me getting back out & having independence in my home & area. I rely on muscle memory to get through daily. I’ve blurred vision… I’ll smile at you & not know it’s you. Some disabilities are not visible to others. So be kind be patient & be helpful to others.
If anyone can help train others in their workplace please get in touch.

Proud Wednesdays 🥰 today we had the OG entrepreneur kids in giving advice & telling their story to the new group.
The maturity, self confidence, knowledge & passion they showed today was something we could all learn from.
From explaining pricing, product comparison, profit, how they’ve bought materials costed them & priced them for profit was inspiring. They spoke about having self confidence in talking to customers, describing their products, selling & how they use profits to put back into their business to grow it.
Hearing this come from kids 12-14yrs old!!! It was the last 4yrs of me boring them with this talk for them to turn it into something their peers can understand & learn from. Using words an average child/teen or even adult wouldn’t use.
Standing back watching them shine & mentor the new kids coming in was a proud moment!
Ann (Mirinsolas granny) always on hand to support the club. Missing Catherine no belly laughs today.
Well done Jessica Mirinsola & Aisling! Now enough praise back to getting sorted for the market! We got this !!
Also barista training Paul & Peter along with Katie, have been given an opportunity to get an OCN in catering. Publicity from our post has training/employment agencies coming in to give opportunities for anyone looking employment!
