Once upon a time about 6 years ago I couldn't use fondant at all, and I didn't really mind because I don't like it. I stuck to buttercream all the time, but customers sometimes want Fondant.
Fast forward to trying on Dummies courtesy of YouTube = a complete disaster, and it took about 2 days of swearing and ripping fondant to make a monstrosity.
Fast forward with practice, successfully covered a cake eventually, but it was still a chore and took all day!
Then I found Panelling last year and practised when I could.
Today I have covered 3 dummy cakes in less than an hour, pretty chuffed if I say so myself.
My covered dummies, but the 2nd picture is an AI plain background
