The Cake Shop Putnoe

The Cake Shop Putnoe We offer a wide range of hot or cold fillings to fill your delicious roll or sandwich. The cake shop also offers a fresh full English breakfast.

We love trying new recipes in our constant quest to create fantastic new savouries, sandwiches, sweets, snacks, bread and rolls, salad pots or pasta pots to tantalise your taste buds. We are not just a shop on a High Street, we are part of the local scene. We make friends with the customers that we see every day. We are here for them… to provide bread, morning coffee, afternoon tea, conversation or a quiet break.

Two new reasons to stop by the cake counter 👀

🍒 Cherry Bakewell traybake — white chocolate, almond flavours and a Cherry Bakewell on top.

🍫 Snickers rocky road — chocolatey, crunchy and packed with peanut and caramel goodness.

The hardest part is choosing which one to have first.

On the counter at The Cake Shop in Bedford.

This one really got us. 🥹❤️

We’ve always wanted The Cake Shop to be more than just somewhere to grab a coffee or a slice of cake — we want it to feel like a little part of the heart of our community. A place where everyone feels welcome, comfortable and looked after.

To know that Harry and his family felt exactly that when they visited us means everything.

These are the moments that remind us why we do what we do. ❤️

So proud of our team, and so grateful to this lovely family for sharing their experience.

Harry — we’ll have the gingerbread men ready for your next visit. 🍪🥰

If you know someone who might feel more comfortable visiting somewhere that understands that sometimes the little things make the biggest difference, please share this with them. ❤️
