I would like to take this opportunity to say a few words.
Over the last 35 years, Marcello fulfilled his dreams of opening restaurants in Hitchin, Milton Keynes and also opening takeaways in Harrowden Road and Manton Lane.
You did not see me as often as you might have, but I was actively there supporting Marcello in the background in realising his ambitions and passion for the benefit of his family. At the same time, I continued to work for NatWest Bank and raising our family.
Over the years we had many challenges to overcome but, we as a family, strived hard with determination and pride and carried on to where we are now and created a family name that we are proud of "Marcello's Pizzeria"
I would like to formally announce that we will no longer be trading as Marcello's Pizzeria and the family business has now been passed onto my daughters, who you may know by now go by the name of Curly Sisters Catering co. I am confident that they will make the business a great success with their enthusiasm, new ideas and new concepts. I wish them all the very best in their new venture.
To our incredible staff, loyal customers and trusted suppliers, thank you throughout our time under Marcello's Ristorante & Pizzeria. Your dedication, partnership and support were the foundation of our success and the very heart of everything we did. We would not be where we are today without you.
The Marcello's name has been a significant part of all our lives and our Community but we believe it can no longer be Marcello's without him.
