But, before you scroll past shouting “It’s far too early!”... hear us out.

Christmas has a sneaky habit of arriving before we are quite ready for it. One minute you're enjoying the last of the summer and the next someone is asking, “What are we doing for Christmas this year?” 😳

So, for the planners among you, the early birds and those who like to get everything sorted before the December panic sets in... Our festive plans are here.

From festive lunches and pre-dinner treats to cosy gatherings and everything in between, we've put together our festive offering for the season.

This autumn, Inverness is getting its very own Fringe Festival, bringing a wonderful week of creativity, laughter, music and entertainment to the city.

From 28 September to 4 October, venues across Inverness will come alive with comedy, theatre, live music, cabaret, drag, poetry, spoken word and plenty more.

For those of us who live here, it is a wonderful opportunity to discover something new, support performers and enjoy a great day or evening out close to home.

If you are visiting the Highlands, why not add a little culture and entertainment to your trip? Spend the day exploring Inverness, enjoy a show in the evening, then retreat to the beautiful Highlands and make a few more memories along the way.

100 DAYS UNTIL CHRISTMAS!

It might feel far too early to say it, but today Wednesday 16th September marks just 100 days until Christmas Day.

Before we all start arguing about when the Christmas music is allowed on, here are a few things to look forward to at The Priory this festive season:

Pre-Christmas dining
Our festive menu will be available from 1st to 24th December, 12 noon to 8.30pm, perfect for catching up with friends, family or colleagues before Christmas arrives.

Christmas Day
As an employee-owned hotel, we've decided to give our team the day to celebrate Christmas with their own families and loved ones, so we won't be serving dinner on Christmas Day.

But for now, there are still 100 days to go... plenty of time to enjoy the last of the summer and the start of autumn before we start thinking about mince pies.

How many days is it acceptable to start talking about Christmas? 👀
