We've bought the food
The fridges are stocked
We can't wait to see you there

The weekend is here
French wine and beer
There won't be any spare

Our restaurant space
In our wee cosy place
Was booming in 2020

Takeaway came
The pandemic was to blame
Now last minute space is a plenty

For sure times have changed
It's all a bit estranged
For us all the world seems in a bit of a mess

But small businesses need you the most
Let us be your hosts
Steak Frites, Frogs Legs or French Onion Soup at its best

That small place you used to go
Don't forget us you must know
We are here with a 'Bonjour' when you walk in through the door

Don't phone just to say hello
Don't email and reserve if your going to be a 'no show'
Turning up would mean so much more

We have resisted a pre booking with deposit system not to upset our regular guests --- but the number of no shows and last minute cancellations right now isn't much fun
