Situated on the outskirts of Battle on a main road, it would be easy to drive straight by but a stop is more than worthwhile. r it's Sunday roasts, homemade pies, liver and bacon, and puddings. Very much a community pub, the Black Horse has a lot to offer in terms of entertainment including a skittle alley and a function room for small parties/receptions. It also has its own darts team, two quiz teams and is a popular refreshment stop for walkers. The pub has ample parking to the rear alongside the pub garden, it is family friendly and welcomes dogs with a doggy dinner also available.
