We’re holding onto summer for as long as we possibly can, because we can!

And what that looks like here you ask? Long lunches, dinner on the terrace, something delicious on the table and a cold glass of rose in hand, we’ve got some crackers to choose from!

There’s still plenty of summer left to savour and even if it does feel a bit chilly, we have our undercover space so they’ll be no rush to get back.

A traditional Fish & Chip Friday post, because there’s a lot of talk about hot weather and al fresco dining, but sometimes all you need to know is that your local serves a really great fish dinner.

Harvey’s Best beer-battered fish with hand-cut chips, mushy peas and tartare sauce. Simple, proper and very, very tasty.

A good glass of vino, a spritz and a feast, great company and some pretty spectacular views. We’re all about the social side of good food and that equals bringing people together, sharing plates, pouring another great glass of wine and making the most of this weather on the terrace and our pagoda even if there is a little down pour now and then!

Another great dish on the summer menu. Taking a little Korean inspiration this time, our crispy korean beef packs a punch. Beef served with a gochujang glaze and a complementary sweet and sour ponzu salad, topped with a sprinkling of sesame seeds. This one’s a favourite!

We’re very excited to be hosting an intimate evening celebrating Patience, an exceptional release from our good friends at Squerryes since 1731 Estate on Thursday 10th September!

This is a very intimate evening, with only 16 spaces available, but we know you’re going to love it.
This inaugural 2014 vintage spent an extraordinary 108 months – nine years – ageing on the lees, with only (would you believe!) 3,000 bottles produced. Now that’s special. It’s also the most expensive bottle of English Sparkling wine!

Named after Patience Warde, an important merchant ancestor of the Warde family behind the Kent estate, this is a truly unique wine with an equally special story.

We’ve worked closely with the team to design an evening and a selection of dishes that beautifully complement the wine.

There is only one downside... there are just 16 spots available, which makes this the perfect opportunity to enjoy some delicious food and talk all things wine.
Spaces are available on a first come, first served basis, so booking early is important! Hurry to save disappointment.

Message us or the Squerryes since 1731 team for more info!

Something chocolatey is on the menu... and it looks like a garden!
Introducing our Homestead Farm Garden Chocolate Mousse – deeply indulgent, incredibly moreish, and a little nod to our home.

You’ve finished your shift, found a sunny spot on the terrace and you’re enjoying a well-earned Limoncello Spritz because it’s mandatory, well Freda thinks it is anyway. Who’s joining us on the terrace this weekend to soak up more sun? A little Friday Aperitivo, between 6-8PM all our cocktails are £8.50! 🍋☀️

We’re sorry, the ASADO Grill is taking a slightly longer break than we’d anticipated. However don’t stop reading, the rest of our menu is absolutely in full swing, swipe to see some tasty plates that are waiting for you!

We’re working hard in the background to get the grill back up and running asap, so thanks for bearing with us.

On another note, who’s stopping by soon?!

It’s Rose season! And with our vast collection of wines, we’re highlighting some of the Rose’s on our menu right now because they these all deserve a moment. From right to left and by no means in order of favourite. What a round-up!

Which one are you choosing?! Paul’s lovely Pinot Noir Rose 👌🏽

It was very important to us that our vegetarian offering wasn’t an afterthought. Featuring on our small plates, perfect for sharing our roasted beetroot and heritage tomato salad, this is a nice, light, bright and flavoursome one to start with. You could also add in a corn rib or two, they’re pretty moreish.
