Have you heard? The Jane Austen Experience in London is getting ready to step out of the ballroom and into the shadows this October with ‘Séance and Sensibility’ 👻🧪
Peel back the polite veneer of the Regency period to expose a macabre underworld of grave robbers, mourning customs, and pitch-black city streets.
Throughout the experience, you will step into your very own Gothic novel by playing authentic Regency divination games, reading candle wax omens, and smelling unique botanical scents once used to ward off deadly miasma. Along the way, you will map out London’s most terrifying urban legends alongside your favourite Jane Austen characters, and perhaps some unfamiliar faces 👀.
Explore the Jane Austen Experience like never before. Book your tickets in advance at janeausten.co.uk, or on arrival to our Gift Shop in London*. Don’t forget to use the code SEANCE20 for 20% off your visit! 📚
*Please be aware that ‘Séance and Sensibility’ will only be taking place at the Jane Austen Experience in London, and not the Jane Austen Centre in Bath.
