Today at 1pm we welcome Trudgeon's Trad Jazz Troubadours to our stage.

Joe T is a one-man mobile music party, reaching back to those Trad/Swing styles that nearly disappeared when that ’50s-’60s generation bowed out: we have a great visiting Swedish trombonist for you this afternoon.

Simply great easy-to-like music.

It's our AGM day! A huge shout-out to all our crew, performers, members, and customers for making The Bell such a very special place.

Catch Mick RPM on the decks earlier than usual today! He'll be flying solo with The Saturday Shuffle starting at 1:30pm.

Then at 3:30pm we have Tongues of Fire. Armed with a unique blend of brass, reeds, and percussion, they create a musical storm wherever they play. Expect a wild mix of funky marching rhythms, traditional circus bands, and the cosmic carnival energy of Sun Ra!

There's even more music from 8pm when the crème de la femme of Bath’s female DJs spins an all-vinyl set of her favourite soulful sounds guaranteed to get you grooving. Let Mumma Quiche take you on an eclectic journey from jazz to funk to soul and back again. Dress up and boogie on down to a homage to the 70s and beyond.

At 3pm Mick RPM and LC Hammered are B2B in celebration with Vibe Friday.

Then at 8pm Jax & Rodders take over the decks taking listeners on an eclectic vinyl journey, fusing four decades of record collecting into a constantly evolving sound. Expect a dynamic ride through house, funk, hip-hop, drum & bass, and surprising leftfield gems.

Every gig has a support act.

Most of the time, it’s the band on before the band you came to see. But there’s another support act too.

It’s the people who believe grassroots music is worth showing up for. The people who understand that venues don’t stay open through luck, and that scenes are built by people who keep turning up, taking risks and putting nights on the line.

That’s what the Supporters Circle is.

A growing community of people backing the venues that give grassroots music somewhere to exist. The places where nights happen, music gets discovered, and everything starts to take shape.
