🎭From a Bowie-inspired Ariel (The Tempest) and a kazoo orchestra (Mansfield Park & Ride) to an Edith Piaf interlude (Hayfever) , to a shellsuit clad ensemble for an 80's inspired 'Much Ado about Nothing', what has been your favourite moments from The Proteans outdoor theatre shows?

They group never fail to bring a unique twist to classic plays each summer...and this year's adapatation of The Canterbury Tales will be no different!

What's been your favourite moment?

Often described as collection of raucous and b***y tales The Canterbury Tales were originally but penned by Geoffrey Chaucer back in the 14th Century (written in Middle English), which can make those references challenging for modern audiences!
Meticulously adapted by Mary Swan, this production keeps at it's heart the witty stories and raucous characterisation beloved by long-time Chaucer fans, whilst making the works accessible to a new generation of fans!
