The Creation Space is the home of Proteus Theatre Company, for the creation of its touring work and Proteus' participatory projects.

It is also a thriving arts centre and cafe, hosting an exciting programme of performances, events, classes and workshops.

Hey Baby!
We've added an extra performance of our specially adapted version of Mrs Christmas's Christmas list for babies under 2 years (and their grown ups).

This one is for the wide-awake afternoon club, the wrigglers, gigglers and only-ever-nap in the morning club, the stay and players, the wide-eyed wonderers, the cuddlers, crawlers, wobblers and fallers!

This special version has with less movement from space to space, lots off additional sensory elements and more stay 'n' play and a pared back, gentle version of the show.

Colin meets....writer and performer who previews his new show The Man in The Cellar at our venue tonight in this impromptu interview by our intrepid reporter!

It turns out that Clive and Colin have a lot in common, not least that they have both previously performed in Proteus/ Christmas shows!

The Man in the Cellar is quite a departure from a family Christmas show.... dealing with adult themes like death, aging, the modern world and mental health, but all with dark humour and captivating storytelling.
