Our final celebration… and what a special one to end on.

Tonight we had the absolute pleasure of hosting a beautiful pre-elopement dinner for the lovely Lisa & Phil, who are soon to be saying “I do” in the most magical place on earth… Disney! 🏰💍

A table dressed with love, a few magical touches, wonderful food, laughter and the excitement of an adventure that’s about to begin… what a privilege to be part of such a special chapter.

As this marks the final celebration we’ll be hosting before we hand over The Roost, it feels rather fitting.

Over the last three years we’ve been honoured to share in so many birthdays, anniversaries, engagements, weddings and family milestones.

Thank you, Lisa & Phil, for letting us play a tiny part in your story. We wish you both a lifetime of love, laughter and magical adventures together.

As many of you know by now, our family’s time at The Roost is coming to an end.

Over the past three years we’ve had the privilege of meeting some truly wonderful people. To everyone who has walked through our doors… whether for a quick drink after work , Sunday lunch, a celebration, a wedding, a quiz night, live music, or simply to chew the fat with us, we thank you.

To all the wonderful guests who have stayed with us, many of you returning time and time again, thank you for choosing The Roost. So many of you have become more like old friends than guests, and we’ve loved welcoming you back each time.

Thank you for welcoming us into this amazing community. Thank you for your loyalty, your kindness, your encouragement, your laughter and for supporting our family every step of the way.

It has been our absolute pleasure to serve you all over these past three years, and we honestly couldn’t have wished for a better community to share this journey with.

Before we hand over the keys, we’d love to celebrate one last time with the people who made The Roost what it became.

What’s On This Week at The Roost

Whether you’re a football fan, quiz lover, foodie, or simply looking for somewhere to enjoy these gorgeous summer evenings… we’ve got you covered.

⚽ Wednesday – We’re opening especially for the World Cup Semi-Final! Doors open from 6pm, so come and cheer on the Three Lions (or simply enjoy the atmosphere with a drink in hand!).

🧠 Thursday – Our ever-popular Summer Quiz Night is back! We only have a handful of tables remaining, so give us a ring to book yours… or simply pop in and enjoy Jorden’s pizzas, served from 6pm. 🍕🏆

Friday & Saturday – Our Garden Sharing Platters have been an absolute hit! Perfect for sharing over a cold drink in the sunshine. Grab a table in the beer garden and make the most of these beautiful evenings. ☀️🥂

Saturday Evening – Our restaurant is closed from 6pm for a very special ladies’ birthday celebration, but our bar and beer garden remain open as usual, so we’d still love to see you.

Sunday – However the weather behaves, Sundays are made for one thing… a proper Roost Sunday Lunch. Relax, let us do the cooking and round off your weekend the right way.

🇬🇧 CONFESSION TIME… 🇬🇧

We know… we’re a Welsh pub. 😬

But Wednesday night, England are in a World Cup Semi-Final, and football is football!

So we’re opening especially for the game.

You don’t have to join in with Chef Jorden singing Three Lions (unless you want to 😉), but come and enjoy what should be a cracking night of football with a great atmosphere, plenty of banter and a well-earned pint.

Let’s show that Welsh hospitality is bigger than football rivalries.
