Last week we picked our Dalton £20 voucher winner, and this week we’re moving on to Askam!

When we launched the Monday & Thursday delivery runs, we promised three separate £20 vouchers — one for Dalton, one for Askam and one for Barrow — with a different winner announced each week.

The first few runs have been really busy, so if you’re planning an order, pre-ordering through Messenger before 4pm is still the best way to make sure we can get you on the board.

First things first… we’re picking the Dalton winner of one of our £20 vouchers from the original delivery post! 🎁

We had a brilliant response on the first night and unfortunately there were a few people we simply couldn’t fit in — so apologies to anyone who missed out!

The best way to make sure you get on the board is to pre-order before 4pm through Messenger. Once service gets going, the inbox isn’t constantly monitored, so after that it’s much better to give us a call on 01229 829311.

🚗🍕 DALTON, ASKAM & OUTER BARROW… WE’RE BACK! 🍝

Many moons ago, Santa Marina used to deliver out to Dalton, Askam and the outer parts of Barrow… but as we got busier and busier in town, it became harder for us to get out that far.

But after years of requests, messages, hints, reminders, and one particularly enthusiastic Post Office owner asking us to deliver to Dalton … we’re finally taking orders for you lot again 😂

Starting Thursday 1st October, we’ll be accepting orders for Dalton, Askam and selected outer Barrow areas every:

📅 Monday & Thursday
🚗 Deliveries leaving Santa Marina from 5pm

You’ll be able to order all the classics you’ve missed, like the Penne Al Forno & PGB, alongside some of the newer favourites too:

🍝 Cajun Pasta
🍝 ’Nduja Carbonara
🍕 Pizza Vesuvio
🍕 Hot Honey Salami Pizza
…and plenty more, check out our menu's at the top of our page.

And for anyone needing Gluten Free, we now offer GF pizza and GF penne too — so just order your favourite meal in its gluten free form and we’ll sort you out 👍

Because these delivery runs are a little further out, there will be a £5 delivery charge. We know that’s not the cheapest, but with fuel costs and the extra distance involved, the full £5 goes directly to the staff!

You can message us anytime in advance and we’ll get you booked in. Pre-ordering through Messenger is definitely the best way to guarantee you get your order on the board 👍

Once we get to around 4–5pm and service starts getting busy, our Messenger inbox isn’t constantly manned, so if you’re ordering later in the day it’s always best to give us a call on 01229 829311 rather than risk your message being missed.

😂 CLOSURE NOTICE — MONDAY & TUESDAY 💍

Due to some in-house fraternising that got way out of control, our Head Chef and Kitchen Assistant are getting married next week 😂❤️

So, naturally, a fair chunk of the Santa Marina crew will be swapping pizza boxes for wedding outfits.

We’ll therefore be CLOSED Monday & Tuesday next week while we all go and celebrate with them.

We’ll be back open as normal on Wednesday the 30th September, hopefully not too worse for wear.

Fancy joining the SM team? 🍕🍝

We’re looking for someone to join us on a part-time basis, mainly helping front of house.

The role would include things like answering the phone, taking orders, helping pack orders, keeping things organised and generally helping the team during service.

The shift would initially be one evening a week, 5pm–9pm, with more shifts likely to become available as we go.

It would probably suit someone looking for their first part-time job, or someone after the odd shift here and there around school, college or other commitments.

We’re only a small team, so we’re looking for someone polite, reliable, organised and happy to get stuck in when it’s busy.

No experience needed — just the right attitude.

Also, as part of the SM way, everyone working an evening shift gets a pizza or pasta for their tea… so if you already like the food, that might be a nice little bonus. 😅🍕

WE’RE BACK TOMORROW! 🍕🍝

Just a little reminder that after our short break, Santa Marina reopens for service tomorrow evening — Monday 24th August! 🙌

We also wanted to say a massive thank you for the response to our Gluten Free pizza and pasta. ❤️

We knew there was demand for more GF options, but we’ve been genuinely surprised by just how popular they’ve become. In fact, our GF Penne al Forno is currently catching up with the original Al Forno as one of our most ordered dishes! 👀🍝

It’s brilliant to see, so thank you to everyone who’s tried the GF range, recommended us or helped spread the word.

And while we’re talking Gluten Free… what would you like us to do next? 👀

Just a heads up that after service this Saturday 15th August, we’ll be closing the doors for a little summer break!

We’ll be back, rested and ready to go again Monday 24th August 🍕🍝
