💗 A little Bannisters Bakehouse update! 💗

I’m going to be taking a couple of weeks off from baking as I’m heading in for double hip surgery this afternoon! 🦴🩷

Don’t worry though — I won’t disappear completely! 😂 I’ll still be popping up on here, posting updates and taking enquiries/messages for future orders. I’ll just be temporarily swapping my baking apron for some much-needed recovery time! 🥰

Thank you all so much for your continued support and understanding. I’ll be back baking (hopefully better than ever!) as soon as I’m able. 🍪🎂💕

Look at that for a desert spread on your wedding day 🥰😍.

75 cupcakes;
5 stuffed flavours,(jam, lemon, Oreo, biscoff and chocolate)
5 different floral white toppings

With two XL boxes of cookies in different flavours- however these never made it to the desert table as the newly weds decided to keep them all to them selves! I mean, who can blame them 😅🫣.

I know where I would be sitting with a spread like this!

I have the absolute pleasure of sharing my birthday with my eldest son! So not only was it my 30th, it was my sons 10th birthday too! 😩😳.

Now, my son has autism and is extremely fussy when it comes to food, one of the reasons bannisters Bakehouse became a thing! So for his birthday cake this year, he asked for a super simple chocolate cake, with chocolate buttercream and a dreamy ganache filling, he has good taste for sure 😍😅.

Of course I had to give him slices with none of the blue icing on or sprinkles as he would absolutely not eat it with those on. But I couldn’t just make a standard cake 😅😭.

I do still have plenty of availability over these coming months for custom orders inbetween my store restocks and cafes. So please do get in touch with any inquiries ❤️

Just a quick one to say thank you to all my lovely customers, for the birthday wishes to both me and my son on Tuesday.

I of course made my sons birthday cake, a nice simple one for us this year as battling the bakes in this heat was a struggle for sure!

However, I am not back to it in the kitchen and ready to take your orders. I should hopefully next week have some yummy baked boxes up
For grabs on my Facebook so please do look out for them. And remember, you can order anything you want, when ever you want! Nothings ever too small 🥰.

I also wanna add a little appreciation post in for a beautiful young lady who very kindly made me a birthday cake this year. She didn’t have to, yet she went out of her way to do and what a cake it was 😍. Chocolate, vanilla and strawberry 🍓

Polite notice to my lovely customers ❤️

This month is one hectic month for me and my little gang! We will be celebrating my 30th birthday and my eldest son’s 10th birthday on the 23rd June 🥳 ( yes, I do share a birthday with my first born as unusual as that is! 😅)

With that in mind, I am treating myself to a few days off 😮. So I will not be in the kitchen from the 21st until the 24th of June. I will still be available to answer your messages and take your orders in this time but please do expect delays.

Quick photos dump from the last few weeks, but have been so busy I havnt got around to posting anything!

Tomorrow is restock day for One Stop Dodworth! We will have the tradition peanut brittle (the sells quickly so grab it whilst you can!) mixed nut and raisin brittle, peanut granola bars and chocolate oaties! Nice little selection going on! 😀

I may be busy with shop orders and cafes however, I do still enjoy your personal orders when you message me directly! I love the random and sometimes unusual things you guys come up with and I’m also loving trying new things right now!
