Job Role: Café Cook/Chef
Position: Full Time.
Immediate start for the right candidate.

We are looking for a Cook/Chef to manage and run our café. The right candidate will hold at least a Level 3 Food Hygiene qualification and have at least one year of experience of running a commercial kitchen.

The Job:
• Buy ingredients, price, and prepare the menu.
• Manage the café and the staff working within it.
• Prepare food – the menu will be starting at basics and building up.
• Promote the business using social media amongst other platforms.
• Create and maintain and professional and happy work environment.

Requirements:
• Food Hygiene Level 3 - this is a minimum requirement.
• At least one year of experience running a commercial kitchen.
• Allergen awareness training.
• Good time keeping skills – must be reliable and flexible.
• Excellent customer service skills – maintain a friendly and professional demeaner.

• We are a family business and work as such – you must be a team player and be able to manage staff working with you.
• You will receive a set wage with a good incentive package.

Successful candidates will be enthusiastic, have a passion for good food and drink and, a drive to create a warm and welcome atmosphere to all our customers. The right applicants will have dedication to their work, work well under pressure, and be flexible in relation to working hours.

The Job:
• Prepare and serve food – the menu will be starting at basics and building up.
• Prepare and serve drinks – barista skills are a requirement.
• Maintain a clean and clear workspace.

Requirements:
• Food Hygiene Level 2 - this is a minimum requirement.
• Experience working in the food industry – at least one year.
• Allergen awareness training.
• Good time keeping skills – must be reliable and flexible.
• Excellent customer service skills – have a friendly and professional demeaner.
• Must be able to use initiative to work autonomously, as well as part of a team.

The job involves serving food and drinks. You will be expected to complete these tasks whilst maintaining a friendly and extremely helpful attitude towards our customers and ensuring the cleanliness of your work area.
