❤️ HOYLAND HALL CARE HOME APPEALS TO LOCAL SCHOOLS AND NURSERIES TO HELP BRIGHTEN RESIDENTS' DAYS
Hoyland Hall Care Home is reaching out to local schools and nurseries in the hope of bringing younger and older generations together through acts of kindness.
The care home is hoping to welcome visits from local schoolchildren and nursery groups who could spend time with residents, share handmade cards, drawings or letters of kindness, and help bring a little extra happiness into their lives.
The idea is to create special moments for residents, many of whom would benefit greatly from the company, conversation and laughter that children can bring.
Similar initiatives at other care homes have seen children presenting elderly residents with heartfelt letters and handmade gifts, creating treasured memories and meaningful connections between generations.
Staff at Hoyland Hall hope local schools and nurseries will consider getting involved, whether through a small group visit, singing songs, sharing stories or simply spending time chatting with residents.
