Our Layla 🥹

Today we say farewell to the wonderful Layla, as she heads off to study Level 3 Accountancy.

It has been an honour to watch her grow from a timid 16 year old, into a bold confident young lady who knows what she wants from the world 💕

Layla has been such a big part of Moments for the past four years. She has grown her baking and bookkeeping skills, amongst many other things.

She will be deeply missed, and I'm sure we will all get emotional later today, but I know this next step in her career is positive and exciting 🤩

We are looking forward to seeing all she achieves in the future!

Thank you for all of your custom, support and patience today as we worked hard to process all your orders 🥰

Thank you also to the amazing team who worked today, staff who jumped in early and stayed late to support each other, your work ethic has been commendable and I appreciate every one of you 💕

There are many lovely fresh homemade goodies available today. (Eat in or grab a few for a takeaway treat!)

Some of our staff have expressed being very disappointed that they weren’t available for the blindfolded latte challenge… (see previous reel)

So, in the spirit of not leaving anybody out - we’d love to hand over the reins to our customers and ask: what challenge should we give them? 👀

The funnier or more random the better.…. (But of course, nothing that will end in a trip to A&E or get us cancelled 🤣)

What does this mean?

We have our large table inside on ground level available for anyone to drop in and have a chat with other people. You can come alone or with a friend. We have a volunteer available each week to welcome you.

The sun is shining, but the temperature has cooled down. It’s a great day for pottering around Barnard Castle 🥰

🕰️ We are open until 7.30pm tonight ☀️

🥗 We have our full menu available with sandwiches, jacket potatoes, salads, toasted, nachos, burritos, omelettes, soups and more.

🍕 Our newer additions are loaded banana bread, pizza naan breads and vegan cheese scones. Plus, Thursday to Saturday early evenings we also have our mezze sharing board.

🌱 Plenty of gluten free and vegan options as always.
