🚣 Barmouth Harbour Fest/ Raft Race 🚣‍♂️

Well after another awesome Carnival, we go again this Saturday 20th June with our 3rd and final push this year. Please come and support the event with plenty of fun for all the Fam to enjoy.

11am - 100 Jets ski’s “Rideout 26”

11am Crab fishing comp

Barmouth RNLI Shannon Class “Ella Larsen” and her Cox and crew will hopefully be in attendance and in full view from the Harbour

12.30pm THE RAFT RACE

2pm ish TUG of WAR

2pm onwards Sand Castle Comp

Party Bus and lots more all down by the Harbour and on the Sea

Entry for the 50th anniversary Race starting 12th June 2027 is now open.
The message from MYC (Merioneth Yacht Club) on the 3 peaks website we are assured will be taken down soon and the MYC will be letting us use their club house for pre-race activities.
The race is not being organised by MYC but by a strong committee of previous participants, under the "Nearwater Events" banner.

We have received a huge huge amount of enthusiasm for the race from many quarters, Barmouth Town Council, previous entrants, local harbourmasters etc and we intend this race will be a great celebration of the history of this great race.

Early start this morning 🍳☕️🥓🍞

Barmouth Lifeboat launched at 06:00 am this morning to welcome and guide pilot cutter Letty into Barmouth Harbour. Letty, a pilot cutter, the same pilot cutter used by local Legend and Explorer Major Bill Tilman.

Come to the Dragon Theatre tonight to hear more about their tales and adventures.
Tickets only £10, available from Barmouth RNLI shop and on the door.
