Truly horrific scenes in North Belfast last night. This was a shocking and brutal act of violence.

As a mark of respect and solidarity, our premises will be closing at 4:30pm today (Clandeboye Road closed all day)

We also want to pay tribute to the bravery of the police officers who responded, along with members of the public who showed courage in such difficult circumstances.

Our thoughts and prayers remain with the victim and all those affected.

Hi everyone,

We want to sincerely apologise for the quality of chip appearance (darker than normal) over the weekend. This was due to an unexpected issue with our potato merchant, which unfortunately affected the standard you expect from The Frying Squad.

We completely understand that this may have been disappointing, and we really appreciate your patience and understanding while we worked through the issue.

We’re pleased to confirm this has now been resolved and we’re back to using our usual quality potatoes.
