We’ve found somewhere the whole family enjoyed! ❤️

We’re always looking for places where we can enjoy a family breakfast without leaving our four-legged family member at home — and Couch of Amber is perfect for that. 🐶🥓☕

The atmosphere is lovely, the food looks amazing and our dog was made to feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. 🐾

And if you’re anything like us, you’ll also love meeting the owners’ three dogs! They’re very friendly and more than happy to come over for a hello. 🐶🐶🐶❤️

It honestly felt like the perfect family stop — good food, a cosy atmosphere and our dog happily included in the adventure.

Although, as usual, our dog was far more interested in what was on our plates than anything else! 😂

Whether you’re stopping in after a walk around Banchory or looking for a cosy café where the whole family can relax, Couch of Amber is definitely worth adding to your list.

• 18+ only, as we serve alcohol
• You’ll need to genuinely love dogs - we’re very dog-friendly, and I have three of my own 🐾
• We’d love someone who is passionate about people, enjoys chatting, and understands that making customers feel welcome is a huge part of what we do
• Friendly, reliable, hands-on and happy to learn across the whole café

We’re a tiny team, so personality and attitude matter just as much as experience. 🧡

Bye bye, August 👋🤎

What a month you’ve been!

Buddy has been very busy in his new role as Totto Banchory Drama Club 🐾, somehow I ended up in the newspaper 📰 The Press & Journal , we welcomed a lovely new member to our team, and behind the scenes there have been some VERY exciting conversations.

We had an amazing meeting with Skene Dhu⁠ Skene Dhu Wh**ky and I genuinely cannot wait to share what we’re planning for our upcoming wh**ky tastings 🥃.

We also took a little trip to Cairn o Mohr Real Fruit W**es Cairn o’Mohr⁠… and let’s just say, something rather exciting may be coming from that too. 👀🍷

But probably my favourite part of August has been the people. We’ve met so many brilliant, interesting and inspiring humans this month. Every conversation seems to spark another idea - and I want to do ALL OF THEM. 😂

There is so much I want to create, experience and share with you.

My only complaint? A day has just 24 hours.
