Awful game last night, we can play against teams that want to attack but the second there's men behind the ball we run out of ideas.

I wonder how Panama will set up on Saturday 🤔😂

Anyway, should England win the group (they probably will) it means they play Wednesday 5pm which is fine but it also means I have to make a decision on whether I apply to stay open on the Sunday/Monday morning because IF we win that it's a 1am kick off.

If there's enough interest I'll do it but I'd rather see on here and decide what I thinks best.

What are people's thoughts?

Hi everyone, we had a quiz booked in for next Wednesday or but due to certain things (world cup) the darts team have had to rearrange a fixture for that day so we've had to cancel.

We were going to do the Wednesday after but I've a sneaky suspicion England are going to win their group, apart from the sketchy defending I was quite impressed with them 🍻

There is a football match on at 6 o'clock and if requested I'll put it on in the background, I think we all agree we come for the music on a Sunday.

* I'll be doing a sweep (envelopes won't be opened until after the group stages and there'll be a random third place winner should you draw a dud like Haiti or England).

Morning, just a very quick one.

My mum was due to a charity walk last week but things didn't work out so she didn't complete it.

She wants to give people their money back but I've told her not to and to find another walk (or even just do the route herself).

Does everyone agree?

It's a charity close to her heart and there was just a slight mix up with venues, about 4 miles worth 😂

I'm pretty sure we all agree? 👍👍👍

The world cup starts on Thursday and I think I'd better try and be as clear as possible about what I can and cannot show 😞

First off all the initial England group games are fine and licensing has allowed pubs leeway to stay open for the later (10pm) kick off.

My licence only permits me hours of 11pm last orders Sunday - Thursday
11:30pm Friday
Midnight Saturday

This basically means that any games kicking off at 10pm other than England you'll only get to see the first half unless I apply for an extension (£25 a pop) which is a bit of a risk financially given some of the poor quality of fixtures in the group stages.

Stay with me....

If England somehow finish 3rd in their group it means their next game will be later (need to recheck) so I'd have to put in a late application. You're supposed to put these in 10 days in advance but I'm not psychic so I'll take the risk that we're better than that.

So whilst you've probably read that we've been given leeway on the world cup the fact is.... we haven't 🤷🏼‍♂️

So to wrap up my short post, England games are all fine unless they finish 3rd then we'll see what happens.

Scotland games not so much.

Any games before 10pm you'll see the full match without issue.
