Monday 2nd to Saturday 7th November | Great British Game Week

Enjoy seasonal game specials including game, smoked bacon & fig pie, rabbit stew with herb dumplings and venison bourguignon with creamy mash.

Game Week is coming to the Axe and Compasses, Aythorpe Roding next week from Monday 2nd to Saturday 7th November.

All week, we’ll be serving a selection of game inspired specials alongside our pub menu, including dishes featuring pigeon, pheasant, rabbit, venison or try devilled duck livers.

It’s the perfect chance to try something a little different while still enjoying plenty of pub favourites.

As the cold weather rolls in, there’s nowhere better to settle in for comforting seasonal dishes and much loved pub classics.

Discover Chicken Wrapped in Parma Ham with bubble and squeak, Hoisin Glazed Pork Belly and Wild Mushroom, Goat’s Cheese & Chestnut Risotto.
