Thank you so much to everyone who came to see us in our last few days and thank you so much to all our customers staff and suppliers over the years ☺️💛

Folks travelled from Glasgow, Lanarkshire and even Ireland to enjoy a fried delight when visiting the town.

As many of you know, this Sunday (23rd October) will be our last day after 54 years.

This was a hard decision to make but we are passing the reigns onto a new owner who will bring you a new and exciting experience in 2023.

Thank you so much to our staff, customers and suppliers who have supported us since 1968. It’s been a pleasure 🤩

We will be closed this Friday for staff to attend the funeral of loved staff member and friend Catherine.

Many of our regulars will have known Catherine, she was a big part of the Wellington and worked with us for over 30 years ❤️ she will be missed so much by us all.

For anyone who wishes to pay their respects the funeral cars will be passing the cafe at 11.30am on Friday on route to the crematorium.
