💗 Volunteers’ Week 2026
As Volunteers’ Week comes to a close, we’d like to take a moment to recognise the incredible people who make The Chambers Community Cafe possible.
While many people see the few hours we’re open each week, what often goes unseen is everything that happens behind the scenes. Our volunteers spend countless hours planning menus, promoting our services, shopping for ingredients, cooking, cleaning, washing up, completing paperwork and managing the accounts that keep everything running smoothly.
For some of our team, volunteering means giving 20+ hours every single week, week after week. It’s a huge commitment, given freely and with kindness.
The truth is, The Chambers wouldn’t exist without them.
To every volunteer, past and present, thank you. Thank you for your time, your hard work, your compassion and your unwavering belief in what we’re trying to achieve together.
The appreciation, smiles and kind words we receive from our visitors make it all worthwhile, but it is our volunteers who make those moments possible.
From all of us at The Chambers, thank you for helping us create a place where everyone is welcome, friendships are formed and community thrives. We are incredibly lucky to have you 💗
