SNUGFEST ARTIST SPOTLIGHT //
Representing Llandudno, North Wales, Alabaster are one of the newest names on the lineup - but they're already making serious waves.

Since forming in late 2025, the four-piece have sold out hometown shows, announced a 15-date North Wales tour and built a reputation for passionate, high-energy live performances.

Blending indie rock with classic rock influences, their music captures the raw emotion, soaring guitars and anthemic sound that defined the early 2000s while bringing a fresh energy of their own.

SNUGFEST ARTIST SPOTLIGHT // ADAM HOPPER & THE WIMPS
Next up on Saturday's bill is Adam Hopper!

Forged in the box room of a Ladybarn terraced house and shaped by pub back rooms, rehearsal spaces and grassroots venues across the North of England, the band have built a sound that's as heartfelt as it is captivating.

Blending anti-folk songwriting with moments of psychedelic release, Americana-inspired guitars and rich, jangling melodies, their songs explore relationships, vulnerability and the gap between longing and reality.

Following a live session for BBC 6 Music's Riley & Coe after the release of their Remember To Have Fun EP, 2026 sees the arrival of their highly anticipated self-titled debut album.

SNUGFEST ARTIST SPOTLIGHT // FREIGHT
Friday night's headliners are Freight.

Formed through a teenage friendship and a chance opportunity at a local pub open mic, Freight have gone from treating their first gig like a stadium show to becoming one of the North West's most exciting emerging bands.

Since then they've picked up support from BBC Introducing, Radio X and TalkSport, while their summer single The Only Thing I Know has amassed more than 40,000 Spotify streams. Blending indie pop, funk and infectious melodies, the band continue to carve out a sound that's entirely their own.

Working with producers behind records from bands including Viola Beach and Corella, Freight are building serious momentum – and they'll be kicking off Friday night at SnugFest 2026 in style.
