THE ANGEL SUNDAY MORNING WALKING GROUP IS BACK!

What a fantastic first walk! With over 70 people joining us, we're delighted to announce the date for our next Sunday morning adventure.

Sunday 18th October - Meet at The Angel, Market Square, Atherstone – 10.30am

A relaxed walk around Atherstone town and countryside
No pressure, no pace-setting and no need to be a seasoned walker. Just a chance to get outside, enjoy some fresh air, have a chat and meet some friendly faces.
And, of course, we'll finish back at The Angel for a well-deserved drink and a bit of time to recharge.

The response to our first walk was brilliant, so we're looking forward to seeing even more of you this time.

Well that was great first walking group. WOW!!!! Honestly I was a little overwhelmed by how many turned up for our first walk. We really enjoyed it and couldn’t have hoped for a better day. Thank you all and hope to see you on the next walk. Keep an eye out for the posts coming soon.

AHOY, SHANTY LOVERS!
This Saturday, 19th September, The Angel Ale House is getting ready to set sail with an evening of proper Sea Shanty singing, great atmosphere and good old-fashioned pub fun!
And what better way to join the crew than with our very own SALTY DOG?
A refreshing little number created especially for the evening — the perfect drink to raise while the shanties ring out across The Angel.

On Saturday 19th September, we're welcoming the fantastic 10-piece Sea Shanty group SHANTYFOLK for what promises to be a brilliant night of rousing songs, traditional shanties and proper pub sing-alongs!

So gather your crew, raise a glass and get ready to find your sea legs as the sounds of the ocean arrive right here in the heart of Atherstone.
