Last night, we had the pleasure of meeting a chap called Anthony who popped into pub for a well earned rest stop, during his incredible challenge of WALKING from John o Groats to Landsend which he began on the 7th of September🥾
Anthony is raising money for a young boy aged 15 called Harley, who was born with a rare condition called spondylocarpotarsal synostosis, affecting his spine, bones, hearing and growth. He has had a lifetime of surgeries, but he is rapidly losing the ability to breathe on his own, and his only chance of survival is undergoing lifesaving treatment abroad, that will cost £2.5 million.
Anthony joins the Hope for Harley team to help them raise as much money as possible, and we thought we would share his incredible achievement, to see if anyone could spare a few pennies.
Anthony camped over in the field last night, after enjoying his Philly cheeseburger and a well deserved pint! We were delighted to offer him breakfast on us in our coffee shop side, to start his day strong, and give him all the fuel he needs.
