the heart of the Derbyshire Dales and Peak District, close to the lively market town of Ashbourne. Surrounded by 35 acres of private garden, fields and woodland overlooking the Bentley Brook and vale of the River Dove, this ivy-clad luxury Dovedale hotel really is a haven of peace and tranquillity but also a perfect base for exploring the splendours that Derbyshire and the Peak District have to offer. Freshly baked scones with homemade jam and clotted cream, delicate finger sandwiches with classic fillings, and an assortment of delicious treats that showcase the creativity of the pastry chef.

Exec Chef David Bukowicki has been out and about meeting local suppliers both in Derbyshire and Northumberland (in preparation for Eshott Hall opening), sourcing the very best of the season's ingredients. The result? A summer menu bursting with fresh, seasonal and spectacular flavours.

From delicate smoked eel and Callow garden vegetable tart to poached sea trout from the River Tweed, every dish tells a story of the Best of British growers and culinary care from the Wildhive kitchen team.

Co-founders Ed Burrows and Charles Randall, with GM Jeremy Whitworth, headed to London for the Great GM Debate hosted by

Ed joined a panel of hospitality leaders to discuss the importance of developing the guest experience beyond the room stay. The day provided plenty of opportunity to share ideas with other GMs and industry leaders from across the UK.

The event was topped off by the team being selected for the 'Boutique Hotelier Power List’ ~ Ed and Charles listed as Game Changers, and Jeremy Whitworth as a Business Leader. 🫶

We are really proud of the contribution the whole team at Wildhive gives to the hotel community, and it is lovely to receive this acknowledgement alongside other celebrated UK boutique hotels. 🥹
