Saturday night in the Coast's Main Bar is looking like a good one.

Run For Cover are with us from 9pm, bringing a big mix of classic rock and crowd favourites from bands like AC/DC, Queen, Bon Jovi, Simple Minds, Bryan Adams, Duran Duran, Status Quo and plenty more.

If you like live music, big singalong tunes and a proper Saturday night atmosphere, this one should be right up your street.

Christmas at Coast is officially on.

We’ve put together a festive menu that’s a bit more us. You’ll still find the proper Christmas favourites, but we’ve added a few Coast twists along the way, from pigs in blankets with maple and hot honey to haggis and black pudding bonbons, festive burgers and plenty of proper comfort food.

Our festive menu will be available from the start of December.
Festive dining:

2 courses – £32
3 courses – £40

You can also add our festive drinks package for ÂŁ14.95 per person, with a choice of cocktails, Prosecco, house w**e, b**r, spirits with mixer or alcohol-free options.

We’ve got everything from the proper Christmas dinner and bourbon beef Yorkie through to salmon, vegan options and desserts including sticky toffee pudding and Christmas pudding.
If you’re organising a work night out, family meal, catch-up with friends or just fancy doing Christmas somewhere a bit different this year, we’re now taking bookings for December.

Saturday was something else.

Our very first Day Disco absolutely went off, and judging by the amount of people asking when the next one is, we didn’t really have much choice.

So we’re doing it all over again.

This time we’re going bigger for Halloween.

HALLOWEEN DAY DISCO
Saturday 31st October

We’re starting an hour later this time and keeping it going right through until 8pm.
Expect another afternoon packed with huge anthems, proper singalongs, dancefloor classics and the tunes that had everyone up on Saturday.

The first one was only meant to be a bit of fun to see how it went. Safe to say, you lot absolutely smashed it.

So get Saturday 31st October in the diary, get the Halloween outfits sorted if you fancy it, round up the troops and come and do it all again.

If the first Day Disco was anything to go by, this one is going to be absolutely rammed.

Because our last Kids Eat Free promotion went so well, we’ve decided to bring it back for the autumn holidays.

Starting this Wednesday at 12pm, kids aged 12 and under eat free at Coast when dining with a full-paying adult who purchases a main meal.

We had such a good response last time that it made sense to bring it back while the schools are off. It’s a chance to get the family out, enjoy some proper food and save a bit on the bill at the same time.

The offer will run from Wednesday 7th through Sunday 18th October.

We’re open Wednesday to Sunday from 12pm.

Terms of the offer:
Kids must be 12 years old or under
One free kids meal per full-paying adult
The adult must purchase a main meal
Offer starts Wednesday at 12pm and ends Sunday 18th October

Saturday is looking like a full one in the Coast Function Suite.

We kick things off in the afternoon with the Coast Day Disco with DJ Jason Baird, from 2pm–7pm, playing massive anthems from the 70s, 80s, 90s and 00s. Expect proper singalongs, dancefloor favourites and plenty of those “I forgot how good this tune is” moments.

Then we turn it right around for Saturday night.

From 11pm–2am, the guys from Polar Ops take over the Function Suite with House & Techno.

So whether you fancy an afternoon dance, a late-night session, or both, we’ve got you covered.

With the new menu launching, we thought we’d give the kids an excuse to come and try theirs too.

This weekend at Coast, kids aged 12 and under eat for free when dining with a full-paying adult purchasing a main meal.

Our new kids menu has macaroni, cheeseburgers, bangers & mash and chicken bites to choose from, and every kids meal includes a drink and ice cream.

Terms of the offer:

• Kids must be 12 years old or under

Our new menu launches today.

We’ve made a few changes and brought back some proper favourites, with dishes like macaroni, hunter’s bangers, not your nan’s steak pie and freshly battered haddock now sitting alongside the burgers, tacos and loaded dishes already on the menu.

There are a few new additions across the starters, mains, burgers, sides and desserts too, so plenty to choose from whether you fancy something familiar or something a bit different.

The new menu is available from 12pm today.

We’ve been working away behind the scenes on this for a while, and tomorrow the new Coast menu finally lands.

The original menu was never meant to be the finished product. There were a few things we wanted to do from the start, but we needed to get the right equipment in place first to actually make it happen properly.

That equipment is now here, the kitchen is ready, and the menu we had in mind from the beginning is finally coming to life.

There’s plenty new on it too — new starters, bigger mains, burgers, kids’ options and a few proper comfort-food favourites we think are going to go down very well.

We’ve tried to make the menu a bit more interesting without overcomplicating it. Good portions, good food and plenty of choice whether you’re coming in for lunch, dinner or bringing the family along.

The new menu starts tomorrow, Friday 25th September.

We’re open from 12pm, so come in, have a look through it and let us know what you go for first.

And yes… some of those burgers are every bit as ridiculous as they look.
