What a lovely surprise this week when my old gym friends Simon and Sharon Birmingham spent the afternoon at The New Inn.
Simon clearly has not lost his bulking mentality from the old gym days, making short work of a Wing Platter (while sort of sharing it with Sharon!) and enjoying a session on the Guinness. 💪🍗🍺
It was great to catch up, share a few stories and see familiar faces enjoying the pub.
Thanks for stopping by Simon and Sharon – it was brilliant to see you both.

Thank you Amesbury (and beyond)! 🍺

What started as a simple idea is quickly becoming something really special.

We have already had loads of people drop in unique beer mats from their travels, favourite pubs, holidays and hometowns, and our Beer Mat Wall is filling up fast.

Every single one has a story behind it, and together they are creating a fantastic display of memories, adventures and community spirit right here at The New Inn.

A huge thank you to everyone who has contributed so far. We love seeing where they have come from and hearing the stories behind them.

🎂 It was Kevin’s birthday recently, but being Kevin, he was far too cool and far too dedicated to looking after our customers to make a fuss about it!

In fact, when the birthday cake appeared, he did his best to avoid any attention and got straight back to work. 😄

It is exactly that attitude, along with his hard work, kindness and dedication, that makes him such a valued part of The New Inn team.

This friendly social café is open to anyone who identifies as a person with a learning disability and/or Autism and is looking for an inclusive space to meet new people, enjoy a chat and connect with others in the community.
