Zeffirellis

Zeffirellis award-winning restaurant, cinema, café and jazz bar is a fantastic venue. Our philosophy when it comes to the menu is simple - Mediterranean influences using the best ingredients, preferably organic, cooked with passion and presented with more than just a hint of flair. We make no pretensions with our food but rather just let the flavours do the talking. The cinema has four screens each with Dolby digital projection, two of which are with 3D. Fellinis

Fellinis is a new modern 'Vegeterranean' restaurant catering for the most discerning vegetarian palette with a distinct Mediterranean twist. Our menu changes regularly to reflect the seasons and the availability of local ingredients. Our w**e list has been designed to complement the flavours in our menu and will also change accordingly from time to time. Fellinis also offers a unique studio cinema experience. We show art-house and independent films hosting seasons of live performances of opera, theatre and ballet via satellite. Movie Deal

Our great value Movie Deal, a two-course meal and reserved cinema seat costs just £21.95, if you eat at Zeffirellis, and £23.95 if you eat at Fellinis.

We are delighted to announce that the Inward Eye Film Festival returns to Ambleside this November for a long weekend celebrating great cinema and the people who bring it all to life.

From 12th–14th November, Zeffirellis becomes a meeting place for film lovers, filmmakers, writers, actors and curious minds, with screenings, Q&As, conversations, live music and special events woven throughout the programme.

And there’s plenty to look forward to. The weekend begins with outdoor cinema in the gardens of Ambleside Manor, with Gladiator, followed by films including Withnail & I, Young Frankenstein, The Secret Agent, Peter Asher: Everywhere Man and The North.

Alongside the film screenings, our Writers Workshop returns, and Mark McGann will lead a Professional Screen Acting Workshop for actors looking to develop their craft on screen.

We’re also inviting filmmakers to take part in our 2026 Short Film Competition, ‘Wild Eyes’, a chance to share your work with the Inward Eye audience.
