❤️ A heartfelt, personal message for our Tara ❤️
As many of you know, when I took over The White Horse, one very special woman joined me on this journey — my Tara, my best friend of more than ten years, she has been my rock through all of this journey.
Long before we worked together at the pub, Tara was my boss in nursing. She taught me so much and became someone I could always turn to. She’s so much more than a valued member of our team — she’s my rock and a friend I treasure.
Some of you have noticed she hasn’t been here lately. What you may not know is that Tara has been diagnosed with cancer. It’s been heartbreaking news for her and for everyone who loves her.
On 12th October, Tara goes into hospital for major surgery. I’m asking our lovely customers and our White Horse family to send her all the love, strength and support you can as she faces her treatment. ❤️
Tara has a heart of gold. She’s a true friend to so many and will always do whatever she can to help someone else. Now it’s our turn to be there for her.
Tara, I want you to know how deeply you’re loved and how much you’re missed — by your team, our lovely customers and, more than I can put into words, by me.
We love you loads, my Tara. You’ve got this, and you don’t have to face it alone. We’re right here beside you. ❤️🫶🏻
