🍎 World Nutrition Day 🍊

What we eat can impact more than just our physical health, it can affect our mood, energy and wellbeing too.

Fruit and vegetables contain important vitamins and nutrients that help support both body and mind, something we do not always get enough of through highly processed foods alone.

Healthy habits do not have to be perfect.
Sometimes small changes like:
adding vegetables to a meal
eating more fruit
drinking more water

can make a positive difference over time.

The Counselling & Family Centre has been awarded match funding through 'The Big Give', meaning every donation we receive will be doubled.

But there’s a catch: We only have until 29th May to raise as much as we can.

After that, the opportunity is gone.

Why this matters so much

Like many charities, we are facing a critical moment. Traditional grant funding has almost disappeared, leaving a huge gap in how we sustain our services.

At the same time, demand has never been higher.

Every day, we support children, young people, and families experiencing:

Anxiety and mental health struggles
Trauma and loss
Family breakdown and financial stress

Without us, many of these individuals would have nowhere safe to turn

This campaign is different.

Could you be the one to make change happen?
We are looking for people who have personal experience of using mental health services in Trafford and who want to offer feedback on their experiences, with the intention of improving access to support and amplifying the voices of service users.
The aim of this group is not to only enhance our understanding of what is working but also what we could improve. We want to contribute new solutions to addressing barriers and improving outcomes.
