Why are we called The Old Road?

Up until the late 1920's, this simple dirt track (behind our trailer in the video) used to be the original road that connected High and Low Newton. What was once farmland was then changed into the road we're all familiar with today and the site was left to become what is now, The Old Road.

Stop by to grab some delicious light bites, sweet treats and fresh coffee and have a look at our printed map that shows the history of this lovely village we call home🤎
