Another Sunday done & dusted! 🍽️

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for Sunday lunch today, even with the sunshine tempting you elsewhere! ☀️🍻

Judging by the clean plates, flowing pints and lovely comments, we’d say it was another good one!

Today’s Sunday menu included:

🥩 Roast silverside of beef
🐖 Roast pork with crispy crackling & stuffing
🐑 Roast leg of lamb with minted gravy

All served with seasonal vegetables, crispy roasties & a Yorkshire pudding.

Not in the mood for a traditional roast? No problem! We always have plenty of other options available from our menu.

Saturday Night Specials 🍽️

Just a little look at what’s been coming out of the kitchen tonight 🤤 From local pints to empty plates, Saturday night at the pub done just right. 🍻

🍄‍🟫 Black Pudding Stack – a delicious starter served with a rich mushroom Diane sauce and crispy onions.

🍔 Pork, Cheddar & Chilli Burger – pork, melted cheddar and a kick of chilli, topped with caramelised onion and served with crispy sweet potato fries.

There’s 3 days to go until Ruby and Ella’s Mighty Hike in the Lakes. They’re walking 26 miles in memory of 2 local legends, Sid and Gavin.

If you haven’t donated already, then dig deep. You can go to their Just Giving page, or drop some real life dosh in to one of the collection pots at The Tanky or Hedgeley Services.

The lucky amongst us won’t fully appreciate how important this cause is, you never do until you need them. But they care for so many, and offer help and support to those not only suffering from cancer but also their families and loved ones.
