A little note from all of us at The George & Dragon 🍻

We’re taking a few days away for a well-earned break, so the kitchen will be closed Wednesday through to Friday this week.

We’ll have the ovens fired back up and the welcome waiting for you from Saturday, with our usual opening hours across the weekend. Whether you’re joining us for a hearty meal, a catch-up over a pint, or our Sunday favourites, we can’t wait to see you.

Look, I’ve crunched the numbers, and the math doesn't lie. My human says "people come here for the Sunday roast," but I know the truth: everyone is actually just here hoping I'll drop a piece of crackling or a roast potato. 🥔🐶
Can you blame them? Just look at that plate: massive golden Yorkshire puds, crispy roasties, and gravy rich enough to swim in.
I’ve negotiated a strict "Zero Leftovers for the Dog" policy in the kitchen, which means you mortals are going to have to eat it all yourselves.
