Here are our Bistro kitchen team with that post-race "glow" after completing the 10K run at Alford Bull Running Festival this morning...🥵

Danni came in first of the three, just ahead of Stella, both with times just over 56 minutes, with John a smidgen behind at just over the hour mark...🏅🏅🏅

And then of course they all came in to work afterwards!! 🤩

Well done to all three!! 👏🏻👏🏻

📌 SUNDAY 23RD AUGUST - BULL RUN 📌

Tomorrow morning is the Alford Bull Running Festival and three of the Bistro chefs will be taking part in this fab local event...🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♂️🏃🏼‍♀️

Since this means we'll be starting the day with reduced staffing levels in the kitchen, between opening at 11:00am until 12:00noon tomorrow we'll not be doing cooked breakfasts, but we will be open and serving filled breakfast rolls, as well as scones, cakes, pancakes as usual...🥓🍳🥞

And it'll be full lunch service as normal from 12:00 onwards (or maybe earlier depending on how fast they run!! 😜)

So if you're at the Bull Run tomorrow and you spot Stella, John or Danni on the course, please give them a shout of encouragement...🤩

Farewell to another Bistro legend as Harper Number 2 leaves the building.
If you’ve ever enjoyed one of our amazing pizzas - there’s a fair chance it was created and baked by our Liam here who very quickly rose to the top of the Pizza Craft Premier League.
He’s been a great and loyal staff member over the past 5 years and we’ll be sorry to lose him but he leaves with our very best wishes for the future.
Don’t worry folks, the pizzas will continue to be sumptuous and his legacy will live on.
Fortunately the Harper legacy will live on too for a while as his younger brother Thomas (Harper no.3) continues to shine.
What a Clan!

As some of our weekend regulars will already know, our Sam worked his last shift at the Bistro today...😥

He is off to do some travelling before heading to uni next year...🏜🏝🏞👨🏻‍🎓

Sam joined us in August 2024 and over the last 2 years we've had a lot of fun, in between some crazy busy days and too many Reese's Mini Peanut Butter Cups to mention...🤣

We'll miss you Sam! Good luck for the future and safe travels! We'll see you around when you're back! 💙

Thanks to everyone who attended our latest Quiz Night this evening, hope you all enjoyed it! 🙂

Special thanks to Sarah Wallace and team for organising this, setting the questions and doing the marking...🤩

It was a very close-run contest...the winning margin was only ½ a point in the end and the winners 🏆 were "The Milton Massif", with "Clan Gunn" in 2nd, and "The Sparkly Cowboy Peanuts" in 3rd...

The amount raised was £250.00 which goes towards fundraising to install permanent floodlights for Alford Bull Runners winter training sessions, allowing the running club to train safely through the darker months.

Let us know if you'd like to host a future quiz for a good cause close to your heart, and watch this space for details of the next Quiz Night 👀
