It was so lovely to welcome you all in this weekend for the multitude of events that took place in our little town of Alcester.

THE STORY BEHIND VENTUNO 🍦❤️

For as long as I can remember, I’ve dreamed of having my own little shop or café.
Back in 2021, we took a huge leap of faith and sold everything — our house, car, businesses, and the life we knew, to travel the world as a family. Along the way, our little boy Reggie developed quite a love affair with gelato, making his way through more scoops than we could possibly count! 🍨✨

When our adventure came to an end, we made another big decision: to move back to the UK and settle in Alcester. It was a fresh start in a town where we didn’t know a soul, but it didn’t take long for us to fall in love with its charm, history, and wonderful community.
Every morning, as I walked Reggie down the High Street to nursery, I’d find myself thinking, “Wouldn’t it be lovely to have my own little shop here one day?”

Then, unexpectedly, a tiny shop became available. Without overthinking it, we followed our hearts and took the chance. The shop was number 21, the same number as the year Reggie was born. All the stars aligned and somehow it all felt meant to be.
Inspired by Reggie’s love of gelato, our passion for creating something special, and our love for the town we now call home, Ventuno was born in April 2026 and what an amazing journey it’s been. 🇮🇹🍦

Thank you all for such an incredible weekend! ☀️🍦
The weather was on our side, the gelato was flowing, and it was lovely to see so many of you.

Come and find us nestled among the Mardi Gras street market for live music, vibrant parades, fancy dress, and more importantly… (although we may be slightly biased), ice cream!

It’s going to be hot, hot, hot, and we’re not only talking about the weather. Sun cream will be applied, glitter will be encouraged, and the carnival atmosphere will be in full swing from 12pm, with our doors opening at 10:30am🥰

We’ll be closed tomorrow for a quick freshen-up and a lick of paint! After a crazy busy couple of months, things are looking a bit battered and bruised, so we’re taking advantage of the rainy forecast to spruce the place up.

We’ll be back open as usual on Friday—looking fresh and ready to serve up your favourite scoops just in time for an amazing sunny weekend! 🍧
