I’ll be around in town it’s looking good and I’m pleased they have added local suppliers . We can tend to get busy later at the bar so try and book for tables after 3pm but walkins will still be welcome and please call to book on 01254351663 as it’s easier and I can’t access messages tommorow.

I’ve been trying to keep this a secret for weeks !

I’m taking a break from The Crafty . I will be about but my mate Ian will be taking over the general management and day to day running .
I could not sit there and not apply for this opportunity where I can be hands on and work for my town to build new foundations for the future !

Big news for Accrington town centre 👏

We’re delighted to announce that Hyndburn Borough Council has appointed well-known local restaurateur Paul Fox as Town Centre Venue Manager, following an open recruitment process, beginning with the exciting relaunch of Accrington Market in November 2026.

Many people will already know Paul as the owner of The Crafty Fox on Abbey Street, where he has built a fantastic reputation for championing local produce, supporting local suppliers and creating a welcoming community space.

His appointment marks another exciting step forward in the transformation of Accrington Market - a project that will bring together traditional market shopping, new food and drink experiences, and a vibrant community hub at the heart of the town.

Paul said: “This is about creating somewhere people feel proud of again - a place to shop, eat, meet and spend time together.”

Exciting times ahead for Accrington ❤️
